Day one competition photos from the Relentless 2023 Surf City Collegiate Challenge in Huntington Beach, CA. So far we have posted parts 1 & 2 from the first day. Wall to wall beach volleyball, making it a challenge to capture it all. Here in part 3, the focus is on Arizona State taking on a super talented duo from Cal Poly, who would represent their school at the Championships later that fall.
What a weekend of beach volleyball in Southern California!
In gallery 3, from day 1, October 28, 2023 – we have Arizona State. Anya Pemberton & Taryn Ames of ASU put up a great fight against Ella Connor & Piper Ferch of Cal Poly. But, ASU ran into a duo that was destined to win the Silver Flight Championship this weekend. Incredible plays were made by both pairs in this match. Keep an eye out for these names during the 2024 season.
Chloe Charles & Maddison Parmelly paired up for Texas Beach Volleyball. They faced Emilia Guerra-Acuña & Sierra Land from Boise State. Another close match as you’ll see from the scoreboard. Tried to catch a few of the great plays made as well. While dodging volleyballs being power spiked from all directions! Stay tuned for more from this weekend.
