Manhattan Beach, California, April 2nd, 2022 was a great start of a wonderful weekend for beach volleyball. The annual “East Meets West” challenge, hosted by UCLA, saw many of the top teams in the nation facing off. Many would go on to make it to Gulf Shores, Alabama to compete for the 2022 NCAA title. Two of those teams, are featured in the gallery below! One of these teams, went on to win it all! Congratulations to USC for winning the 2022 NCAA Beach Volleyball Championship – here is Part 1 of when they faced off against Hawaii, another team that qualified for the 2022 NCAA’s.
USC would go on to win this match up 5-0. Some of the photos in this gallery include the Nourse Twins from USC, Nicole & Audrey, facing Jamie Santer & Megan Widener of Hawaii. Like most of these matches on this day, these were pretty close! You’ll notice the score at 5-5 in the album. Nicole Nourse and Audrey Nourse would win vs. Hawaii in 2 sets, 21-18 * 21-14.
