Taking you back to September 9th, 2023 in Huntington Beach, California for Surf City Days. This was a real competitive CBVA tournament, in the women’s AA division. A few highlights from several matches in the pool play. More photos from this event on the way.

You’ll see the eventual champions of this event, at the end of this opening pool play gallery. The photos that were featured in our social media post, were from the playoffs later in the day. McKenzie Zinn and Abra Rummel had quite a day on the sand against some great competition. We got a chance to see Abra Rummel in her capacity as Coach, just this past October, in Manhattan Beach at the So Cal Challenge (AVCA)

Lots of “part 1’s” by the way. With ‘fall ball’ complete and the CBVA also coming to a close, I’ll have more time to get some photo galleries up from the 2023 season. It’s been fun watching so many talented athletes compete to win. Being a ‘fly on the wall’ hearing players talk about adjustments mid match. Seeing great come backs – and I’m looking forward to much more in 2024. Till then, again, stay tuned. More beach volleyball from this past Spring, Summer, and Fall, on the way.
